• Delhi

  Visits will be covered between the arrival and departure day. Delhi’s Red Fort will be seen from the outside only because you’ll be visiting Agra’s Red Fort which is much better preserved. Delhi, capital of India has a strong historical background. It was ruled by some of the most powerful emperors of India. The history of the city is as old as the epic Mahabharata. Delhi has been a witness to the political turmoil for over five centuries. It was ruled by the Mughals in succession to Khiljis and Tughlaqs.

   

  You get to see and feel Delhi and its old town, Red Fort which complex was built as the new capital of the fifth Mughal Emperor of India, Shah Jahan. Visit Humayun tomb, Jama Masjid and Qutub Minar.

• Lodhi colony is a quiet and green neighbourhood where you will see over a dozen of mural painted to house government employees built in 1940s.

   

  And, if free time happens to be available, Francine will suggest you a special visit in an almost unknown part of the city where you’ll be transported into some countries in just about a km square area….a surprised to be disclosed whenever possible.

• Pushkar

  Pushkar Fair activities. Pushkar is a sacred town for Hindus. Pushkar Lake is considered holy water and, therefore, surrounded by over 400 temples, including the multi-coloured Brahma temple. Creator of the universe, there is only one temple dedicated to Brahma in the whole world. Its a place to immerse in spirituality or enjoy a walk around the market in a quiet small city. Ghats galore, landing steps leading to the lake for the worshippers abound. There are many Indian pilgrims to be found around all year long.

   

  Sure a great opportunity for a picture safari.

• Pushkar fair Also known as the Pushkar Camel Fair, is a colorful and vibrant display of unique exhibitions, exciting competitions and fascinating events. It is renowned for being one of the world’s largest cattle fairs which also possesses a religious significance and the temple city buzzes with religious activities.
• Jodhpur

  Visit the clock tower area and market where you’ll find characteristic wooden crafts and textile (maharani textiles and handicraft – humongous variety of it) and a bunch of spices, saris and real antiques. The cheapest place for shopping in India.Visit of the Mehrangarh Fort, which is the gateway to the Thar Desert. One of the largest forts in India built around 1459 by Rao Jodha. It is located 125 meters (410 feet) above the city. Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph that was built by maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899 for his father memory. It is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. Shopping time and walk in the blue city.

• Bishnoi village

  Known as tree-huggers, the Bishnoi community have a captivating culture, with a religion combining religious rules with ecological ones. They also practice the very special opium ceremony which is characteristic of West Rajasthan.

  Appreciate the very famous Durry rug making and pottery making.

• Rawla Jojawar

  Meet wit the villagers, visit their houses and witness their way of life. Relax while enjoying the installations of the palace where you’ll be staying..

   

  Go into old traditional villages and see their morning and evening daily life activity and visit some Hindu temples.

• Udaipur

  Visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, a 15° century Jain temple which construction is entirely made of marble. Also meet the Garasia and Bhil tribes with which you’ll sure want to take a whole bunch of pictures of it.

   

  Spend time visiting Udaipur, also known as the ‘Venice of the East’, as its complex lake system winds its way around palaces, temples, ancient waterside dwellings and a wonderful collection of heritage hotels. Stunningly romantic, the Aravali Hills proffer the perfect backdrop reflected in the city’s water, where you can saunter the City Palace on the bank of Lake Pichola or head to Lake Palace and Jag Mandir Palace on offshore islands. Around sunset you can enjoy a nice boat ride on the Pichola lake. If time allows it, we’ll treat you to a folkloric open air show.

• Chittorgarh Fort

  Visit of Chittorgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013. The fort was the capital of Mewar kingdom. During this visit you will see the Rana Kumbha Palace, the Kirti Stambha a Jain symbol, the Vijay Stambha the victory monument, the Padmini’s Palace and other Hindu and Jain temples.

• Bundi

  Spend some time at the Mahanal temple, a Kama Sutra temple of Rajasthan built in the 11° century when the complex became a thriving center of shivaism. Its carving and stone color gives it a certain Angkor Watt look. Later, visit Bijolia ancient temple dedicated to lord Shiva.

   

  Enjoy and evening visit to Rani Ji Ki Baori step wells built in 1699, a very important social structure in medieval India where people from all walks of life assembled. Nowadays, there is a market that surrounds the step wells where you’ll find every possible thing you might be looking for and have your photograph craving satisfied.

  Visit Taragarh, admire the chitra sala frescoes, go to the Garh palace and Chaurasi Khamnon Ki Chatri.

  Located on a small hill stands the 12th century Taragarh fort. Unlike most forts in India which have a varied mix of palaces, temples and other buildings, the Taragarh fort and its main palace lies outside the actual fort. It is encircled by a fortified wall. Inside the fort there is a very well preserved and famous chitra sala (frescoes) depicting the life of the rajput. In the complex, one of the many buildings is the Garh palace which construction begun by Rao Balwant Singh in 1580. Even if it now lie in ruins, parts of it still retain their majestic splendour amidst overgrown grass.

• Chaurasi Khambon Ki Chatri

  As the name suggests, this is a pavilion supported by 84 (chaurasi) pillars. The pavilion was built in 1683 by Rao Anirudh Singh to commemorate the services of Deva, his wet nurse. Standing on a high platform, the structure served as a cenotaph as well as a temple.

   

  Explore villages of the Gurjar tribe come from the Northeastern region, who are mostly shepherds making and selling the very product of the their cattle.

• Jaipur

  Family home dinner. You’ll be invited to have a meal in a family and experience their joyful hospitality.

   

  Visit of the pink city is the first planned city of India, Jaipur is the capital a the state of Rajasthan. There are seven gates into its old, walled city bursting with flower markets and fortune tellers, artisans and animals, and not one palace, but two: Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal. Amber Fort, the honey-coloured citadel rises gradually along a sloping ridge surrounded by even higher ridges. Then move on to the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh who represents his love for astronomy, its complex instruments, whose settings and shapes are scientifically designed represent the high point of medieval India astronomy. Some people say they feel as if in a contemporary open aire museum when entering the site.

• Agra

  Visit Fatehpur Sikri, founded as the capital of Mughal Empire in 1571, a UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Visit Agra Fort then move to Mathura.

   

  Agra is a very famous city because of its very special monument which is classified as the 7th wonder of the world: The Taj Mahal. This construction is a love testimony from the emperor of Mughal to his favorite wife, in a city located on the banks of the Yamuna river.

• Mathura

  Visit Vishram Ghat, boat ride during Aarti ceremony.

  According to temple opening hours, go to the birthplace of Krishna.

   

  On the bank of Yamuna holy river, Mathura is famed for being the birthplace of the much loved Hindu god Krishna, Mathura is one of Hinduism’s seven sacred cities and it attracts floods of pilgrims. Once a Kushan capital and a major Buddhist centre. Among all the so many ghats to be found, the Vishram Ghat where you will experience the Aarti ceremony and boat ride at sunset.
